On Saturday the family of veteran highlife legend, Alfred Benjamin Crentsil, known in showbiz circles as A.B. Crentsil, held his final funeral rites.
The ceremony occurred at Bethel Methodist Society Park, Community 8 in Tema.
Present to mourn with the family was former President John Mahama who joined scores of Ghanaians including creative arts industry players.
It was a solemn remembrance service for a very talented and creative songwriter who entertained and educated all with his music for decades.
A.B. Crentsil was later buried in his hometown, at Ewoyaa, near Saltpond in the Central Region.

The Highlife star died at The Bank Hospital, Accra on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
A.B. Crentsil had 25 albums to his credit. Some of his songs which caught both local and international attention were Papa Samo, Landlord Abodwese, Devil, Osokoo among others.
