Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored the only goal of the game as the Black Meteors of Ghana booked a place in this year's U23 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Sporting CP winger connected well with Ernest Nuamh's cross to give Ibrahim Tanko's side the victory at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Black Meteors were by far the better team in both halves with Ibrahim Tanko making a few changes to the starting lineup that played in Annaba.
12 minutes into the game, Nuamah surged on a forward run from the left side of Ghana's attack and beat an opponent before picking out Issahaku who made no mistake from close range and slotted in for the opener.
The former Dreams FC man also had a couple more chances to make things worse for the Algerians but there were no positive end results.
Tanko's side came back from the recess well-charged again and ready to tear their opponents apart but still failed to convert their chances.
Just like he did in Algeria, Danlad Ibrahim was on top of his game as well in Kumasi and helped Ghana secure a slot.
