Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy has advised artistes to actively push and promote their projects whenever they release them.
Taking to his Twitter page, Don Jazzy used Davido as an example of an artistes who goes above and beyond to ensure his music is listened to.
The Mavins Record boss stated that although Davido is popular not just in Africa but across the world he is doing his best to market ‘Timeless’ - his new alum.
He stated that the 'If' hitmaker has not been complacent while assuming people would automatically listen o his work because of his fame.
Don Jazzy wrote “Dear artists, I hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album. He didn’t form oh I’m OBO so everybody will cop my shit. Marketing your beautiful project that you worked hard on does not reduce your swag.”

Davido on March 31 released his new album after months of being away from social media and the public light.
For his album promotion, Davido has had interviews with numerous media in Nigeria, CNN, BBC Xtra 1 and other media across US and UK.
Shortly after the release of the album Timeless, according to Apple Music, set a new record.
The album had the most first-day streams ever for an African album, the music streaming service said in a tweet.
Timeless also reportedly had the highest number of album pre-orders by an African artist and the highest number of first-day album sales by an African artist.
