Brentford have opted against renewing the contract of Black Stars forward, Tariqe Fosu, as his departure has been confirmed.
The 27-year-old's name was published on the Premier League's website as part of the players the club has released following the expiration of their deals. His contract will expire at the end of June.
The London-born joined the Bees from Oxford United in January 2020, making 63 appearances and scored five goals in three years - not playing for Thomas Frank's side in the final year.
Fosu featured 39 times in the club’s Premier League promotion-winning 2020/21 season, scoring four goals and providing four assists.
That included a winner against Bournemouth at the Gtech Community Stadium at the end of December.
Fosu made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City in March 2022 - that was his only appearance for the Bees in the English top-flight.
He spent the first half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Championship side Stoke City, before a January loan move to Rotherham United, where he made 19 appearances.
Tariqe Fosu's last Black Stars call up came when Ghana took on Morocco and Ivory Coast in June 2021 in doubleheader international friendlies.
