The Jomoro MP, Dorcas Toffey, has extended words of encouragement and support to candidates sitting for the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
In a short heartfelt message, the Jomoro MP expressed her good wishes to all BECE candidates as they embark on their examination journey.
She emphasised the significance of keeping their heads held high and striving for excellence.
“All the best as you journey through these exams. Keep your head high and see yourselves in excellence,” her poster to the candidates read.
A little over 600,000 candidates are expected to write the 2023 BECE. They are 300,323 males and 300,391 females from 18,993 schools nationwide.
These candidates will be the last batch of students to write BECE. A new examination will be administered in 2024 following the introduction of a new curriculum in 2019.
