Koforidua Technical University is the first technical school to painfully exit the competition, while Accra Technical University impressed the judges with their meal in episode 7.
The contestants of the biggest cooking reality show in Ghana, Big Chef Tertiary, took the Chicken Challenge in the 7th week of the competition to another level.

The judges tasked the 18 contestants with preparing any meal of their choice with a secret ingredient. This episode's secret ingredient was chicken, and contestants were given 5 minutes to select other ingredients of their choice from the open market to successfully complete their meal preparation.
All six teams were allocated 60 minutes to complete their task. Chef Sam and Chef Tracy repeated the popular phrases "clean as you go" and "if you waste my ingredients, I will waste your marks" from time to time to remind the contestants to keep their stations neat, as it is one of the main rules for chefs.

Nana Krobea Asante I, Adontenhene of Mpraeso, and Kwahu, who was a guest judge on the show, also went around the kitchen to interact with contestants and monitor how innovative they were in the kitchen.
When the 60-minute cooking time came to an end, and judges summoned the contestants to present their meals for their verdict.

At the end of the episode, Accra Technical University wowed the judges with their presentation and also won the Star School of the Day title.
Unfortunately, Koforidua Technical University said their goodbyes as they were evicted from the competition after they failed to impress the judges with their meals.
This news left a bitter taste in the mouths of the other teams as they had to say goodbye to Koforidua after 7 weeks of back-to-back competition against each other.
Nana Krobea Asante I applauded all the contestants for displaying professionalism and innovativeness in the kitchen.
She further advised the representatives of Koforidua Technical University, not to see their eviction from the competition as a failure but rather as more room to learn and improve for their own benefit.
“We all know that anywhere there’s a competition, one may lose and one may win. So, if you’ve been evicted, you need to be happy because you put in more efforts to better yourself next time. Today is not the end, it’s just a beginning,” Nana Krobea Asante I said.
