Ghana defender, Tariq Lamptey, starred for Brighton and Hove Albion as they embarrassed Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Saturday.
The 22-year-old full-back provided two assists as the Seagulls ran out 3-1 winners in the Premier League round five fixture.
This was the first start for Lamptey in over six months since getting injured in March against West Ham United.
Brighton took the lead after 20 minutes when Danny Welbeck smashed in from close range following a cross from Simon Adingra.
Eight minutes after the break, Tariq Lamptey meticulously teed up Pascal Gross to double the lead for Brighton.
Substitute Joao Pedro added a third for Roberto De Zerbi’s side from another Lamptey assist.
Manchester United pulled one back through substitute Hannibal Mejbri to end the game 3-1 against Erik ten Hag’s side.
