Popular Primetime Limited produced National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), which airs on The Multimedia Group's Joy News and Joy Prime TV channels has won the CIMG TV Programme of the Year 2022.
NSMQ winning the coveted award in 2022 is a significant recognition of its contribution to education and intellectual engagement.
The NSMQ is a popular and competitive quiz competition in Ghana that promotes interest in science and mathematics among students.

Winning the CIMG award reflects the show's impact and popularity within the country.
In a citation by the Institute, it said, "As a way to inculcate the love for science and mathematics in students, you came up with a programme that seeks to systematically promote the study of science and mathematics among students in the second cycle institutions.

"You built the programme into an enviable brand, that has earned its place in Ghanaian history as one that is keenly followed annually. To have past students, alumni etc. boast about what the current breed is achieving and even have the right to brag, makes the programme one that has lived to its bidding."
CIMG lauded Primetime Limited's NSMQ programme for being able to promote the study, standard and popularity of science and maths in the senior high school (SHS).
It said, the show "helps SHS students to develop quick thinking skills and a probing mind, promote healthy academic rivalry among SHS, rekindle in old students love for their schools and encourage them to offer help to their alma mater."
The Institute added that the National Science and Maths Quiz "inculcate a degree of science culture in Ghanaian society for all to see science as a way of life."
Primetime Limited also won the CIMG New Media Campaign of the Year 2022 with its NSMQ show.
