Residents of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai in the Western North region have been gripped with fear after a sheep in the community delivered an offspring with scary deformities.
The mysterious incident which occurred on Wednesday, December 3, had residents witness a lamb with two heads, two mouths, four eyes, and two ears.
Speaking with the media, Adwoa Abrafi, the farmer who owns the sheep said she has reared a flock of sheep for over a decade and had never had this mysterious incident before.
Scared by the incident, she said she consulted a spiritualist in the area to determine if it was a sign of a bad omen.
Meanwhile, the municipal veterinary officer, Dr Emmanuel Kingsley Bassaw explained that the incident could be a result of three factors.
According to him, sheep birthed the conjoined lamb as a result of intake of heavy metals such as mercury, and cyanide, also inbreeding, and poor medication.
