President Akufo-Addo has appointed Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson as the Deputy National Security Coordinator, recognising his impressive 25-year career in national security operations and legal affairs.
Dr. Dickson has held various leadership positions within the Ministry of National Security, showcasing expertise in national security law, cyber, and maritime policy.
Prior to his appointment, Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson served in key roles such as Chief Legal Advisor, Director for Security Governance, Director for Legal, Director for Intelligence Analysis, and Director for Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation at the Ministry of National Security.
He also contributed to various boards, including the Financial Intelligence Center (FIC), Africa Center for Strategic Studies, and the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC), among others.
The appointment of Dr. Dickson has garnered positive reactions within the national security community, with experts expressing confidence in his experience and skills to advance national security initiatives.
