Ghana's Black Satellites will face Benin, Congo and The Gambia in Group A of the 13th African Games Male Football competition.
The U-20 team will represent the nation at the Games to be staged in Accra from March 8-23, 2024.
The CAF Executive Committee resolved that the eight quarterfinalists at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2023 together with the host Ghana will qualify for the event.
Also, the same age category applied during the U-20 AFCON will be adopted for the African Games Male Competition.
Ghana's U-20 side, currently coached by Desmond Offei, is currently in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in preparation for the competition.
The Black Satellites will be hoping to defend the title for Ghana after the last triumph during the 2011 edition where they beat South Africa 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
