Soon-to-debut Black Queens midfielder, Freda Ayisi, has called on her teammates to believe in their ability ahead of their game against Zambia later this month.
The third-round tie of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers against Zambia will be the biggest test for Nora Hauptle so far since taking over the national team last year.
Ayisi, who is one of the new faces in the team, is confident Nora Hauptle's side has what it takes to upset Zambia who were one of Africa's representatives at last year's FIFA Women's World Cup.
"Yes, of course [we have what it takes to advance ahead of Zambia]. We have got to be confident in our ability," said the Charlton Athletic midfielder in an interview with Joy Sports.
"We've got to go there with confidence and believe that we get the job done. When we get there, we are just going to be focused on the game and not focusing on outside noise.
"We just need to focus on the game and that is what is going to happen."
Freda Ayisi (@FredaAyisi) is expected to join the rest of Black Queens team later today as they prepare for the 3rd round of Olympic Games qualifiers against Zambia.

Ayisi will be playing for Ghana for the very first time after switching allegiance from England, where she had played earlier in her career.
This season, the 29-year-old, has one goal and one assist in five starts for Charlton Athletic who are chasing promotion to the English Women's Super League.
She is expected to arrive in Ghana later on Monday, February 19, after her club's league game over the weekend was called off.
