Retired Deputy Commissioner of Police DCOP Kwesi Ofori has been appointed to the Manifesto Committee of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 election, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He will serve on the security committee chaired by Edward Asomani, as revealed in a press statement issued on Thursday, February 22.
This announcement was made by the Communications Director for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye.

Having retired on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60, DCOP Ofori brings with him 35 years of experience in the police force.
Before his retirement, he held the position of Director-General of the Ghana Police's Public Affairs Directorate, demonstrating a profound understanding of security matters.
