Tourism Ministerial nominee Andrew Egyapa Mercer has affirmed his commitment to utilising his legal background to tackle any legal hurdles that may arise within the tourism sector.
Leveraging his experience as a lawyer, Mercer expressed his preparedness to apply his legal expertise effectively in his new role.
Acknowledging the likelihood of disputes within the sector, he assured that he would serve as a mediator to ensure fair resolutions for all parties involved.
Speaking before the Parliament's Appointments Committee on Tuesday, March 5, the Sekondi lawmaker stressed the significance of collaborative efforts in advancing the creative arts sector.
He highlighted the vast array of opportunities within the industry and pledged to prevent conflicts from hindering the sector's progress and the benefits it offers.
