Team Ghana began Day 2 of the Swimming competition by qualifying for the finals of two events scheduled to start at 17:00 GMT.
Captain Abeiku Jackson and teammate Stacey Harry finished first and third, respectively, in Heat 4 of the Men's 50m Butterfly, with times of 24.12 and 24.85.
Ghana also made it to the final of the Mixed 4x100 Medley Relay with a third-place finish time of 4:12.03.
Titus Ankrah Hector narrowly missed out on the final of the Men's 100m Breaststroke despite topping Heat 1 with a finishing time of 1:18.69.
Meanwhile, Christian Nii Nortey Duah could not advance to the next round of the Men's 200m Freestyle, finishing sixth in Heat 1.
Elsewhere, Asampong Theodore, Snowden Ivan, Nubia Adjei, and Mensah Joselle had unsuccessful attempts in their respective events.
There's hope of ending the medal drought after coming close with two fourth-place finishes on Day 1.
