The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has characterised himself as a problem solver.
He asserted that Ghana currently requires a generational thinker, a role he believes he is poised to fulfill to transform the nation.
Addressing the NPP International Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday, March 23, Dr. Bawumia emphasised that he possesses the qualities necessary for Ghana's next leadership to propel the country to new heights.
He articulated his vision and cited his proven track record in addressing Ghana's generational challenges.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted his role as a problem solver, citing several impactful policies he has championed as Vice President.
“Ghana needs problem solvers, generational thinkers and people with innovative ideas,” Dr. Bawumia said.
“I am a problem solver, and a generational thinker with innovative ideas. I have a solid track record as Vice-President to prove it,” he added.
Dr. Bawumia further underscored his commitment to being a hardworking president, emphasising his dedication to harnessing the full potential of the country.
“I have not been President before, but through my role as Vice President, I have demonstrated that I will be a hard-working President and I have the vision to address generational problems confronting our sustainable development.”
