Members of the Locked-up Investment Holders Forum staged a protest to demand the release of their investments from Financial Houses and Savings and Loans companies.
The protest was in response to the Bank of Ghana's (BoG) failure to help the group recover their funds.
The group's convener, Dr Adu Anane Antwi urged the BoG to intervene by taking over these financial institutions and pay the customers their investments.
The protest concluded at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where scenes from the demonstration were captured by Myjoyonline’s photojournalist, David Andoh.
