The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, was the special guest at Dreams FC’s team dinner in celebration of their exploits in the CAF Confederation.
The event was held at the AH Hotel in East Legon, Accra on Tuesday for players and technical staff to refresh after an intense dream journey in the CAF second tier inter-club competitions.
The Still Believes lads defied expectations by going all the way to reach the semifinal of the competition on first attempt.
Dreams FC’s journey came to an end last Sunday following a humbling 3-0 defeat to Egyptian heavyweights, Zamalek, exiting 3-0 on aggregate despite securing a shock goalless draw in the first leg in Cairo.
Regardless, the club made history by becoming the first Ghanaian team to reach the semifinal of the tournament since the inaugural edition 20 years ago.
Dreams FC could return to the competition if they win this season's FA Cup. Karim Zito's side will face Soccer Intellectuals on Thursday for a place in the semifinal.
