German-born Ghanaian attacker Braydon Manu has revealed his readiness to make a debut for the Black Stars in future call-ups.
The former Darmstadt winger was first drafted into the Black Stars squad by CK Akonnor in 2022 for the World Cup qualifying matches against Ethiopia and South Africa as a late call-up.
He failed to make his debut, watching both games from the stands. Despite missing out on Otto Addo’s recent call-up, Manu has expressed his readiness to return to the team and contribute in the team’s upcoming assignments.
“I am ever ready to play for Ghana. As long as I am fit and available, I am ready to honour any call by the coach and the Ghana Football Association,” he said to JoySports.
He also rallied support for the Black Stars in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
“I wish the team well and hope public also supports the team in the upcoming games as they work to secure qualification,” he added.
Manu, 26, who is now a free agent, had a challenging season with Darmstadt in the Bundesliga, sitting out for most part of the campaign due to injury.
The versatile winger ended his stint at the club after four years, making 60 appearances and scoring 11 goals.
