Gospel artiste, Joe Mettle, has said he is not ready to collaborate with any secular artiste on a song.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the musician clarified that his decision was based on spiritual motivations.
"Sarkodie and I talked about it and we understood each other so in a point blank, it is a door I wouldn't want to open," he said.
"Remember a conversation about what the Spirit says... When the spirit allows you to do certain things, he has His reasons for it but once I have a release in my spirit, I will do it", he said on Hitz FM.
He also revealed that a few individuals have made featuring requests, which he will only grant when the “spirit says so”.
"I don't want to do it because I have so many friends and to do one will mean doing it for all. I have had a few of my friends aside from Sarkodie such as Manifest arguing I don't want to give them a feature in songs but truly, I will when the time comes", he stated.
Joe Mettle is currently on a media tour for the promotion of his upcoming event dubbed Praise Reloaded under the theme “Holy Spirit the Encounter”, happening on June 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
