Fire has completely destroyed a house at Lebanon Zone 2, Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.
A faulty ECG meter has been blamed as the spark that torched off the fire which quickly spread after a gas cylinder exploded. It is alleged inhabitants were using the gas for cooking at the time of the fire.

Flames engulfed the entire house and reduced it to ashes.
The residents have suffered huge personal losses, including valuable belongings and an undisclosed amount of money.
No casualties or injuries were however reported despite the severity of the blaze.

The fire has had a devastating impact on the tenants and several families who resided in the house, rendering them homeless.
The tenants and multiple families who resided in the house, have been left homeless and have called on the community members for support.
