Your most authoritative entertainment talk show in Ghana, Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM, will be introducing a new segment that will help elevate fledgling creative brands and businesses.
Dubbed The Push, this segment will provide up and coming musicians, poets, dancers, film makers, writers, fashion designers, comedians and the like, a platform to market their craft through interviews and live studio performances.
With the creative economy showing great promise of contributing immensely to the gross domestic product of the country, Joy FM’s quota to this, is to start from the base - nurturing the people blessed with the talent to create works of art.
Interested creatives would have to send videos and photos of their works, their names and a brief description of what they do to WhatsApp number 0551111997. Alternatively, they can also post on social media, tag Joy FM, with the hashtags #ThePush and #ShowbizAtoZ.
Showbiz A-Z has over the years has dedicated its platform to thought-leadership and progressive conversations.
The show which starts from 2pm to 6pm on Saturdays, has a music segment hosted by DJ Wobeti who plays amazing tunes from Ghana and across the world.
The ‘Say It Loud’ segment is an editorial that addresses critical issues plaguing the culture and creative industries without fear or favour.
The show climaxes with the big conversation which brings together the greatest minds in showbiz to analyse the relevant issues in the industry.
Showbiz A-Z is hosted by Joy FM’s entertainment journalist Kwame Dadzie. It is backed by a formidable team of producers led by Philip Nai. He is assisted by Anita Teye, Crispy Kay, Olivier Fangnon, and DJ Wobeti.
