The Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, has proclaimed the emergence of Edem Agbana, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ketu North, as a symbol of the party's renewal in its future direction.
Speaking at Agbana's campaign launch in Dzodze, the Municipal capital of Ketu North, Mr Iddrisu emphasized the significance of the new wave of NDC candidates representing a fresh and vibrant future for the party.
During his address, Hon. Iddrisu expressed confidence in the return of former President John Dramani Mahama's administration, asserting that Mahama is poised to rectify what he described as the "mess" created by the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He urged the people of Ketu North to support Edem Agbana and the NDC in the upcoming 2024 elections, stressing the need for a collective effort to secure victory.
Also present at the event was John Dumelo, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, who assured voters that every ballot cast on December 7, 2024, would be protected.

Dumelo's remarks reinforced the party's commitment to ensuring a transparent and fair electoral process.
The campaign launch was a momentous occasion for Edem Agbana, who, in an interview with the media, highlighted the NDC as the only political party that genuinely offers meaningful opportunities, and nurtures, and supports young people.

Agbana, full of optimism, predicted that the NDC would secure over 95% of the votes in Ketu North in the upcoming general elections.
As the political landscape intensifies ahead of the 2024 elections, the NDC's emphasis on youth representation and leadership, as exemplified by candidates like Edem Agbana, positions the party as a formidable force in Ghanaian politics.
