The Ministry of Education in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Digitilisation, has unveiled a Ghana Knowledge and Skills Bank (GKSB) as part of an eTransform initiative financed by the World Bank.
The GKSB is a comprehensive educational content repository, featuring materials from esteemed sources such as the Cambridge University Press and Cengage Learning.
It also integrates resources from existing platforms, including those by CENDLOS, the Ghana Education Service, and the Ghana TVET Service
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Minister of Education, at the unveiling, said the initiative reflected the government’s dedication to providing equitable access to education for all citizens.

He said this made Ghana the second African country, following Egypt, to introduce such an innovative educational platform.
Dr Adutwum said the portal aligned with the national curriculum and offered access to over Five million online library resources and educational tools enabling students to engage with material beyond the classroom.
“I urge all learners and parents to fully embrace and take advantage of this great initiative to enhance knowledge and skills development nationwide,” he added.
