“It was a bit heartbreaking but I realized that it was the norm where people also fake stuff. So people are also used to that."
"Anything genuine that they see they think everyone fakes it. But it’s not everybody that has to fake stuff to impress anything. Some people are doing it genuinely", he said on Hitz FM.
He also shared his greatest pain was met by some young men who made mockery of him on the Tiktok platform but he still had to stay mute.
"It was so heartbreaking seeing young men mock-throw me on TikTok. It trended on TikTok and the painful part is you just have to be mute. Say no word till it’s time to speak.”
The musician also highlighted that although being vocal, one ought to sometimes remain quiet in certain situations.
“That’s the interesting thing about me when you think you know me, you realize you know nothing about me. I knew it wasn’t time and that time, I didn’t really wanna speak about my amputation but I realized that part of my therapy in getting healed is talking about it and that’s why I did.”
