The Denkyira Traditional Council has applauded Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his good conduct and decency in the 2024 Presidential Campaign.
Welcoming Dr Bawumia on Wednesday in Dunkwa in Offin, the Denkyira Traditional Council said it has observed Dr Bawumia's campaign, which they said has focused on issues without insults.
"Since you were elected Flagbearer, we have noticed the decency in your communication. You do not insult. You are always talking about your policies and preaching against indecent comments," said the Traditional Council, in a welcome address delivered by Nana Kwame Nkrumah II.
"We have not heard you insult anyone since you started your campaign and this shows that indeed you are a man of wisdom who thinks deeply."

"You are humble and you have lots of respect for the elderly and everybody. May God bless you abundantly".
Expressing their support for Dr Bawumia's Presidential bid, the Denkyira Traditional Council said Dr Bawumia was blessed and "who the Lord has blessed, no one can destroy."
Dr Bawumia's visit to the town was met with rare rains and the Traditional Council said it signified that he is a blessed man.
"Your presence here is a blessing for all of us."

"The first sign of blessings you have brought to us is the rain. We have not seen the rains here for some time now but today that you have been here, God has opened the heavens for the rains to fall to coincide with your visit, which is indeed a sign of blessings. It signifies victory."
The Traditional Council also commended the Akufo-Addo government for bringing developmental projects to the community, including roads, a key bridge over the Pra River an on-going stadium, the DRIP equipment for road development, etc.
