Ghana international Antoine Semenyo says he's "happy" to have netted for Bournemouth in their win over Southampton on Monday night.
The attacker scored the third goal in the 3-1 win at the Vitality Stadium as the Cherries picked up all three points.
Semenyo was making his 50th Premier League appearance for Andoni Iraola's men as he registered his third goal of the 2024/25 campaign.
"Just try to get to create some space and shoot really and I got enough space, hit it (the ball) hard low and it just trickled in the bottom corner so I’m happy," said the Ghanaian after the game.
"I caught the defenders off guard with a chop and like I said, just wanted to create space and get the shot away and I did and it went in."
Semenyo is five goals away from equaling his league goal tally from last season.
