The presidential candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, expressed his appreciation to Apostle Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, for his attendance at a meeting with the clergy.
The event took place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, where Mahama invited various church leaders to gather for prayers in support of his campaign.
During his address, Mahama conveyed his delight at the strong turnout of clergy members, acknowledging the presence of many leaders from different denominations, including Catholic, Pentecostal, Charismatic, and spiritual churches.
Although he noted he could not greet each attendee individually, he mentioned his friend, Rev. Owusu-Bempah, highlighting their connection.
The gathering underscored Mahama's efforts to engage with religious leaders as he seeks their support ahead of the upcoming elections.
