Ghana's Black Satellites grabbed their first win of the U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations Championship with a win over Niger on Sunday, October 20.
Desmond Ofei's side picked up all three points thanks to Aziz Musibau's second-half brace going on to win 0-2.
Ghana faced Niger in their second Group A fixture following a 2-2 draw with Benin in their opening game. Niger, just like Ghana, also came into the encounter looking for their first three points having drawn 2-2 with Togo in their first outing.
The two teams had a great start to the game creating loads of chances in the opening 30 minutes of the game. However, neither of them was able to find the back of the net.
The teams also went into the break in search of an opening.
Ghana found the breakthrough in the 63rd minute. Musibau beat the Nigerien goalkeeper with a long-range effort to give the Black Satellites the lead.

Musibau was on the scoresheet 10 minutes later to double the lead for Ofei's side stretching the lead.
The goalscorer found himself in the final third alongside Jerry Afriyie, who played a square pass into the path of Musibau before the forward scored his second.
Despite a spirited effort from Niger, the Satellites kept their composure and sealed the win, keeping a clean sheet in the process.
The result leaves Ghana on four points after two games played and face Togo in their final group game on Wednesday, October 23.
The tournament serves as a qualifier for next year's U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
