On November 22, 2024, pastors from all the sixteen (16) regions of Ghana and very notable spiritual fathers of the land will lead the 2024 Joy Prayer Summit for Peace.
Representing Joy FM will be Pastor Kojo Frimpong, Pastor Ato Acquah and Reverend Mike Nii Abossey.
There will also be music ministrations by Gospel musicians Celestine Donkor and other gospel artistes.
The Joy FM Prayer Summit for Peace 2024 will take place at the Victory Bible Church International (Prophetic Sanctuary Kokomleme).
Speaking on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM, Pastor Ato Acquah said: "we are commanded to pray for the nation in which we are and the scripture is very specific that we are to pray for the peace, reason is because it is in that peace that we will have our peace. There can’t be development in the midst of chaos or war. And so peace is very essential."
The Programme Manager of Joy FM, Edem Knight-Tay noted that while the Joy Brands are earnestly working at giving credible election reports, it is also important to take cognizance of the spiritual side of the exercise.
"We believe that everything we do will come to naught if there is no Christ in it. So we will pray for the Election Headquarters all we can but we also believe it is important that we make sure God’s hands are in what we are doing. We can preach peace but you don’t have anything if God doesn’t give it to you. That is why it is important we go back to God," she said.
The Joy Prayer Summit for Peace 2024 will be held on 22nd November, 2024 at 6:30pm.
