A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Volta Regional Campaign Logistics Committee, has called on constituents in the Keta Municipality, particularly in communities such as Aborlove, Nolopi, and Havedzi, to set aside any past misunderstandings and rally behind the party in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Francis Senanu Dekutse emphasised that unity within the party is essential to achieving the transformative development that the region and the nation need.

During a weekend tour, Mr Dekutse stressed the importance of discarding the notion of "skirt and blouse" voting, where voters might support different parties at the parliamentary and presidential levels.

He asserted that such voting patterns could hinder the cohesive governance and development initiatives the NDC aims to implement.

“The NDC is the only party that genuinely prioritises the welfare of the Volta Region and the entire country,” Dekutse declared.

“We have proven before that we can drive massive development, and with your support, we will ensure that no Ghanaian is left behind, especially in terms of jobs, healthcare, and education.”

Campaign Outreach Across Key Communities

Leading the Volta Regional Campaign Committee, Dekutse and his team visited several wards, including Hatorgodo, Lawushime, Aborlove, Nolopi, Seva, Konu, Anyako, Dzelukope-Fugo, Dzelukope-Amugo, Havedzi, and Horvi.

The purpose of the visits was twofold; to commend the party faithful for their dedication and to encourage them to intensify their efforts as the elections draw closer.

The team distributed 1,000 party-branded T-shirts and 250 scarves to community members and key stakeholders as a show of solidarity and appreciation.

The outreach will continue in the remaining wards, reinforcing the NDC’s commitment to engaging directly with the grassroots.

Strong Team Presence

Mr Dekutse was accompanied by a robust team, including Cde. Emmanuel Awlavi (Esq.), a member of the committee; Cde. Michael Nutsugah, Deputy Constituency Organizer; Cde. Mawutor Ayitey (Master Pee); Cde. Philip Abotsi; and Cde. Wonder Deynu, Deputy Constituency Communication Officer. Their collective presence underscored the significance of the visit and the unity within the party’s leadership.

Special recognition was given to Cde. Mrs Enyonam Apetorgbor for her generous contributions, which supported the successful execution of the tour.

“We are deeply grateful for her unwavering support,” Dekutse noted.

Mr Dekutse’s message was clear: unity and solidarity within the NDC will be the key to victory and subsequent development.

He urged constituents to remain steadfast and reject divisive tactics.

“Let us forge ahead together. Victory is within reach, and with the NDC at the helm, we will build a Ghana that we can all be proud of,” he concluded, rallying supporters with the NDC chant, “Ele Zu! Ele Za!!”
