As Ghana positions itself as a leading tourist destination in West Africa, the country's hospitality sector is rapidly evolving to meet the growing demand.
With a surge in leisure and business travelers, the need for premium accommodation and exceptional services has never been more pressing.
The team lead for Operations and Human Resources at Best Western Plus Hotel, Geralds Sosu, emphasised the importance of prioritising eco-friendly environments and investing in technology to promote development in the local tourism industry.
"Corporations involved in the local tourism industry must invest in technology and eco-friendly practices to attract more clients and stay competitive," Sosu urged.
The call to action came on the sidelines of the first edition of the Corporate Cocktail Night, which aimed to promote collaboration and networking among industry stakeholders.
The Head of Sales and Marketing, Doreen Oduro, explained that the launch of the corporate cocktail night was designed to understand the needs of partners while promoting collaboration and networking.
Meanwhile, the Team Lead for the Commercial Division of Caveman Watches, Bernard Barnor, highlighted the importance of investing in Ghanaian-owned products to promote local economic growth.
Best Western Plus Hotel reaffirmed its commitment to upholding international standards and enhancing the overall experience for tourists during the Christmas season.
The event was attended by industry stakeholders, including hoteliers, restaurateurs, and tour operators, who networked and discussed ways to promote Ghana's tourism industry.
