Medeama SC has announced the exit of head coach Nebojsa Kapor, following the expiration of his one-year deal
The 38-year-old Bosnian tactician joined the club in December 2023 on a one year contract but was unable to agree on a contract renewal with the club.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the club confirmed that "both parties failed to reach an agreement on contract renewal."
During his tenure, Kapor led Medeama SC to notable progress and delivered competitive performances in the Ghana Premier League.
Kapor was expected to defend the league title but failed after accumulating 29 points in the league (eight wins, five draws and eight losses) in his first season finishing eighth on the league table.
In the ongoing season, Kapor led Medeama to six wins, three draws and four losses.
Medeama are currently in fifth position with 21 points.
