The Minister nominee for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has pledged to do her utmost best to justify the confidence reposed in her by the president and the people of Ghana.
In a post on Facebook following her nomination, she assured her supporters and industry stakeholders of her commitment to advancing the sector.
“I promise to do my best to justify your faith in me,” she wrote.
"I entreat you to continue to support, as well as bring forth ideas to help promote and preserve our rich cultural heritage, improve our tourism industry and showcase our creativity for the development of the sector.”
The Member of Parliament for Ketu South also expressed deep gratitude for the honour bestowed upon her, acknowledging the trust placed in her by President John Mahama, the Vice President, and the party's leadership.
She also extended appreciation to all who sent messages of congratulations and encouragement.
The renowned actress emphasised the importance of collaboration in achieving her vision for the ministry and called on stakeholders to unite in promoting Ghana’s heritage, tourism, and creative industries.
