A Nigerian amateur may have earned himself a trial at Spanish football club Sevilla after a his tweet requesting a trial went viral.
Identified only as Ola Great, the Nigerian reached out to Sevilla F.C.’s official English page on X (formerly Twitter), and asked for a trial.

In response that has sinxe gone viral, the club said if their reply were to be reposted 100,000 times, he would be considered.
Before long, the post gained traction, as more than 100,000 accounts reposted Ola the tweet.
At the time of reporting, tweet has been retweeted 131,000 times, with 63,200 likes and 12.5 million impressions.

JoySports checks indicate that Ola previously played for represented Futa Tigers in the Nigerian University League Games, and in 2024, played for non-league side SuperStar F.C. in Lagos.

Ola Great may be on the verge of a life-changing opportunity
If the trial works out, Ola could be lining up alongside fellow Nigerians Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke.
