The Ghana Association of Medical Herbalists (GAMH) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh on his nomination as Health Minister.
In a letter signed by the association's President, Dr. Sandra Ashong, and Secretary, Dr. Ronald Yeboah, the GAMH expressed confidence in Akandoh’s leadership capabilities and his significant contributions to the health sector over the years.
"Your exceptional leadership and significant contributions in the health sector throughout the years have undoubtedly earned you this nomination, and we are confident that you will be duly endorsed," the letter stated.
The GAMH reiterated its commitment to collaborating with the new minister to promote the integration of herbal medicine into mainstream healthcare.
"As the primary advocate for the integration of herbal medicine into mainstream healthcare, the GAMH is eager to collaborate closely with you to ensure that all Ghanaians have access to high-quality healthcare services," the letter emphasized.
The association also conveyed its best wishes to Hon. Akandoh for a successful vetting process by the Parliamentary Vetting Committee and expressed anticipation for his leadership in advancing the country's healthcare agenda.
"We wish you every success and eagerly anticipate your approval by parliament," the statement concluded.
The GAMH looks forward to working with the Ministry of Health to enhance healthcare delivery and promote the use of herbal medicine as a viable healthcare option for all Ghanaians.
