La Liga side Real Valladolid has announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo from Celta Vigo.
The 28-year-old joins the club on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season after struggling for minutes in the first half of the season.
Having returned from a long injury layoff before the start of the season, Aidoo expected to fight his way into the club's starting lineup.
However, things have not gone to plan for the Black Stars defender who is yet to start a game in the league this season and has managed just one appearance in the top flight.
The move to Valladolid, therefore, becomes an opportunity for him to rediscover his best form and get regular minutes again.
Valladolid occupy the bottom spot on the league table after 21 games played having just won four games and sealed 15 points.
The addition of Aidoo is expected to bolster their defence from now until the end of the campaign.
