The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team has dismissed claims by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin that the committee deployed drones to monitor his private properties.
In an interview, Afenyo-Markin said he was aware of the committee’s activities but chose to ignore them.
Speaking to Citi News, legal practitioner and ORAL member, Martin Kpebu described the allegation as “ridiculous” and urged the public to disregard it.
“It is false. The ORAL committee has not sent any drones to spy on the Minority Leader’s properties—it is not true at all. Looking at the members of the team, you can hazard that the committee will not do something ridiculous like that, so let’s disregard it. We do not own any drones as a committee at all,” he stated.

Mr Kpebu also rejected suggestions that the committee had secretly deployed additional operatives.
“We do not have any members aside from the committee members working for us. Since it is a democracy, claims like that are made for strategic reasons,” he added.
