Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has extended his heartfelt wishes to Ghanaians on the country’s 68th independence anniversary, expressing hope for a united and prosperous future.
In his Independence Day message shared on social media, Dr Bawumia emphasised the need for peace, unity, and economic growth as key pillars for national development.
He urged citizens to work together to strengthen Ghana’s heritage and ensure a future filled with happiness, cohesion, and positive transformation.
"I wish all Ghanaians a happy 68th Independence day. It is my prayer that as citizens of Ghana, we shall continue to live in peace, unified for political and economic growth, and solidify our common heritage. We are one people, one nation with a common destiny. May our future be filled with happiness, cohesion and positive transformation," he posted.
