The Black Stars could move a step closer to the 2026 FIFA World Cup as they face Madagascar on Monday, March 24.
Ghana are up against Madagascar on matchday six of the World Cup Qualifiers, looking to stretch their lead at the top of Group I.
Otto Addo's men currently sit two points clear of the group with 12 points from five games, while Madagascar are second on the table with 10 points.
Ghana's leap to the top came following the emphatic win over Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, with Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu and Ernest Nuamah all getting on the scoresheet in the 5-0 win.
Two days before Ghana's 5-0 drubbing of Chad, Madagascar had claimed a statement win over the Central African Republic, beating them 1-4 on the road.
The game against Madagascar is of great importance to the Black Stars and their chances of going to the World Cup.
Semenyo, who scored in the big win over Chad, has been speaking about the importance of Monday's fixture.
"I feel like every game we've taken very seriously. Yeah, and these two games, we want to win. We want to win. We want to be top of the table going into September. So yeah, we're going to do everything we can to win both games and give ourselves the best chance of qualifying for the World Cup," he told Lawrence Baidoo in an interview with SuperSport.
In the first part of my interview with Antoine Semenyo, he assesses his performances with the Black Stars.
He feels the team needs to put the AFCON failure behind them and focus on a ticket to the #FIFAWorldCup.

This will be the fourth meeting between Ghana and Madagascar since 2022, with the former winning two compared to the latter's none, while the other one has ended in a stalemate.
In that period, the Black Stars have scored four goals, shipping in just one goal, and keeping three cleansheets.
The good thing for Ghana is the fact that Monday's fixture takes place in Morocco, with Madagascar's home ground being deemed unfit to host the game.
A win for Ghana will move Ghana to 15 points, five above Madagascar, extending their lead at the summit in Group I.
Otto Addo, so far, has no injury concerns ahead of the game. He is likely to make a few changes to the starting lineup that faced Chad in Accra.
The game is set to kick off at 19:00 GMT.
