Gilbert is set to undergo classification from April 21 to 23, a key step before he can officially be recognized as a para athlete. He is expected to compete in the men’s high jump and long jump events.
Meanwhile, Edmund, who secured a bronze medal at the 2024 International Para Athletics meet in the discus throw, will be aiming to make another strong impression.
The Marrakech 2025 WPA Grand Prix kicks off on April 24 and will span three days.
Athletes' performances at the event will count toward qualification for both the upcoming Commonwealth Games and the Paralympic Games.
