The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has affirmed that all members of the party remain committed to maintaining unity for the 2028 general elections.
Mr Ahiagba said this on JoyNews’ Upfront on Wednesday, where he was questioned about the findings of a 12-member committee established to investigate the party’s defeat in the 2024 elections.

However, he declined to disclose the contents of the committee’s report, stating that the focus should now be on consolidating the party and moving forward.
"Are you sure you will keep a united front?" the host, Blessed Sogah, asked. "Absolutely, that's the commitment, and every one of us as members of the party are committed and are going to do our part to ensure that this party move forward as one." Mr. Ahiagbah answered.
While the report by the committee has been a subject of speculation, Mr Ahiagbah maintained that what matters most is the collective resolve within the party to reorganise and reconnect with the Ghanaian electorate.
