Ghana's U-15 boys team finished their campaign at the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship (ASFC) on a high following their comeback victory over Uganda in the third-place playoff game.
Kwaku Danso's side came from a goal down to record a 2-1 win over the Eastern African side to claim the bronze medal.
Uganda came into this game after losing to Senegal in the semifinals on Friday, April 25, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
They took the lead against Ghana in the early minutes of the third-place playoff game after breaching Ghana's defence, taking a 1-0 lead into the break.
However, Ghana struck twice in the second half to ensure they rewarded Ghanaians with a first medal as far as the competition is concerned.
Ghana is participating in the competition for the first time after missing out on the previous two editions.
