Asante Kotoko have ended the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League in fifth following their 3-1 defeat to Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
After an uneventful few minutes of exchanges, it was the Porcupines who drew first blood in the 38th minute through midfielder Emmanuel Antwi whose first-time left-footed effort took a deflection into the bottom left corner.
Edmond Asante emerged from the bench to poke home from close range to restore parity in the 40th minute.
Frank Duku then put Vision ahead in the 81st minute before adding his second in injury time to claim three points for the hosts and shatter any hope of a comeback from Kotoko.
it was Kotoko's first defeat under head coach Karim Zito.
However, they have the FA Cup final on June 15 against Golden Kicks with hopes of finishing the season on a high.
Meanwhile, Vision finish the season 11th with 45 points on their first attempt in the top-flight.
