The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG) has announced that it will embark on a Nationwide Revenue Mobilization exercise from June 16 to 27.
The exercise will target all categories of customers with outstanding arrears, including residential, commercial, industrial, as well as Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
According to the Company, special teams will monitor the exercise and will “apprehend and prosecute customers who attempt to interfere with the exercise, and/or undertake illegal self-reconnection after disconnection.”
ECG advised customers with arrears to pay their bills to avoid disconnection.
"Customers with arrears are advised to pay their bills now to avoid disconnection and payment of reconnection fees."
The Company also encouraged customers to use their regular channels, including the ECG Mobile App, to pay their bills.

ECG urged all customers to cooperate fully to ensure the smooth and successful completion of the revenue mobilization exercise.
