Genk winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has opted to remain modest about his debut performances for the Black Stars against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago.
The 20-year-old attacker, who featured in both matches of the Unity Cup in London this May, said he would rather leave the assessment of his outings to the national team’s technical bench, led by head coach Otto Addo.
Bonsu Baah’s displays have generated optimism among fans and pundits alike, with many tipping him to play a key role in Ghana’s qualification campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Despite the growing praise, the youngster has refrained from self-appraisal.
“I will leave everything to the coach because he was the one who was watching the game, so he has to tell me if I did well or I did not do well. But for me, I just give my all for the country and to help the nation,” he told Joy Sports.

At club level, Bonsu Baah has been one of Genk’s standout performers in the just-ended Belgian Pro League season.
He registered three goals and five assists in 38 league appearances and ranked second at the club for chances created and dribbles completed per match.
