President John Mahama has reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to honouring all campaign promises made to the people of the Eastern Region and the nation as a whole.
Speaking at Koforidua Jackson Park on Sunday, 20th July, as part of his “Thank You Tour”, President Mahama conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support he received in the 2024 general elections and pledged to live up to the trust placed in him.
“Thank you for the warm reception,” he told an enthusiastic crowd. “I am deeply grateful for the confidence you have shown by re-electing me as President. By the grace of God, we will fulfil all our promises to the Eastern Region and to Ghanaians.”

The Koforidua event formed a significant part of Mahama’s nationwide post-election tour aimed at thanking voters, reiterating his administration’s development agenda, and strengthening community engagement.
The gathering drew hundreds of supporters and regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who turned out in high spirits, waving party flags and chanting slogans.
