More than fifty wooden structures and metal containers were destroyed, displacing scores of residents.
This was after a fire swept through a slum at Madina Ritz Junction in Accra earlier today.

The blaze, which broke out at a washing bay, prompted a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), with firefighters from the Madina Fire Station leading the effort.

This incident marks the second fire outbreak at Ritz Junction in less than a month.
A previous blaze also destroyed several makeshift wooden structures.
