The Executive Chairperson of the Africa Governance Centre, Benedicta Lasi has admonished African Political Parties to be open to cooperation as the destinies of Afrucan nations are interconnected.
Ms Lasi made the remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of the 2025 Afrhcan Political Parties Summit earlier today in Accra.
"The destinies of Afrucan countries are bound together and no country can secure its future in isolation. We must work together to ensure favorable outcomes for the peoples of our nations", she noted.
Touching on the importance of organizing the 2026 Afrucan Political Parties Summit, Ms Lasi indicated that the summit was necessary to provoke reflection on the conscience of the political class of Africa I order to reset the continent.
She stressed, "Governance is the vessel carrying the hopes of our people and if the vessel is unsteady, even the richest paddler will be lost to the storm".
Ms Lasi further admonished African leaders to form partnerships in order to secure their respective borders and to promote economic prosperity for African Nations.
