Two people riding a motorbike were injured in an accident involving a mini-bus, popularly known as a trotro, at the Official Town Bus Stop in Ngleshie Amanfro, along the Kasoa–Malam Highway.
The incident occurred when the motorbike collided with the trotro during the morning rush.
Eyewitnesses told reporters that the motorbike rider was attempting to weave through moving traffic when the trotro, with registration number AW 7559-13, struck the bike.

“The rider tried to manoeuvre between cars, but the driver of the trotro didn’t see him in time. The impact threw both of them off the bike,” one witness recounted.
Both victims were quickly rushed to the Ngleshie Amanfro Polyclinic for medical attention. Their conditions remain unclear, but medical staff are said to be monitoring them closely.

Meanwhile, the driver of the trotro has been taken into police custody to assist with investigations.
